OK- I was in the shower yesterday morning and my dog would not stop barking just before I got out. So I jumped out and majorly stubbed my toe on some stacked up ceramic tile we are trying to decide on for in there. In the mean time the people at the door left. But left me with this. I mean seriously since when does the picture perfect family own a Parrot????? I have never been able to understand trying to "save" people door to door. Why not just show God to someone you know, by the way you treat them. With unconditional love or kindness or grace or forgiveness. I mean do you really think the people that stop at your door want to know you. I feel like they want to check me off a list. The bratty side of me sometimes answers the door just to be a challenge!! How many people do you really think see this and say I want to know Jesus? I love God and want to share with people what he has done in my life, but not like that. I mean seriously a Parrot.

...fiona and I almost careened off the road yesterday when we saw my twin with a GINORMOUS MACAW on her shoulder...and a snow white parrot on her head....I am totally serious!
Maybe thats what she was doing at the house she was walking up too...i didnt see any flyers in her hand though...hmm...
...Magoos is reported to have monkeys...do you think a monkey could help show grace and love to someone who doesnt know Jesus?
FYI - i called Magoo's and asked if they carried monkeys and the gentleman assured me they DID NOT..."not even during the holidays?" I asked.
ai looked at that picture and it must be true because even their dogs are smiling.
Have you ever ducked down and made your kids be quiet or hide???? Just wondering....great lesson for the kids!!
