My GRANDpa!

This picture was three years ago,my grandpa turned 90 and we had a big party for him! I love the one of him and some of his great grand kids he looks so proud. He died 2 nights ago. I have been thinking about him and some of the things I loved about him. I loved how when I was a really little girl he would toss me up in the air and smile up at me, how he would always say "what cha say there", how he always would look around when the family was all together and say "look what I started". What I love the most about him was what he carried on to his children who carried on to theirs who are now trying to carry on theirs.

His work ethics, his love for his family, the importance of being a good husband, father, and grandfather, his level of commitment to his marriage. My grandma was an alcoholic, while she struggled with this for years he stood by her. He was grumpy sometimes and sure liked to swear as Amanda would say, but he was a GOOD man and I loved him. I'm going to miss you grandpa! Thanks for giving this family 93 years! My grandpa had 4 children 15 grandchildren 46 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren and one more on the way......LOOK AT WHAT HE STARTED!
