Home Sweet Home

Home Sweet Home, there it is!!! I got my ferns the other day they help it look homier again and the chairs are out ready for some conversation. What is home sweet home really? Yeah I like my house to look inviting with ferns and soon flowers on the outside and lamps and cozy places to sit, but what really makes a house homier is how people feel when they are here! I know people feel at home when: feet are on the coffee table, a nap is happening somewhere, someone is drinking out of the milk carton(NOT), someone helps themselves to a bowl of ice cream or some other treat in our freezer!!(thanks to John), you can't find a blanket to use because everyone is cozied up in one, people are leaning against the counter eating snacks, we some how end up in my room chatting or my daughters room, you hear a lot of laughter, someone is missing and you find them in some cozy little spot somewhere, the neighbor boys are in the backyard playing basketball, all the lawn chairs are filled up in the pool yard!! I do like my house to look pretty on the outside, but what I like most is when people feel like coming back, that's Home Sweet Home!!!!
