Today is my mom's 70th birthday! My dad planned a little surprise for her with their neighbors. Me and 2 of my sisters are going too. I was waiting for my sisters to pick me up.......one of my nephews called to ask to get in the hot tub I went outside to open it up to see how it was holding up after all it's guests over the last few days. It was fine but I couldn't keep my eyes off this. Some how it reminded me of my mom! All bloomed and beautiful right in the middle waiting for all the others around her to bloom and BELIEVING that they will! I love my mom she is a great lady! I will post some pictures tomorrow from the party

Love your mom...such a source of support during some crazy times. She is such a beautiful lady. Remember my biggest fear? Getting old, but not better, wiser, deeper, more mature and Godly? Your mom has...that's why that flower reminds you of her. Better that than a freakin' thorn bush. I can think of a few of those. ;)
