I have been busy with work this week and a lot of other things. This is Andrew in the pool just before the old liner got taken out. The after picture is going to have to come later.......way later, like next summer. The pool was all closed up when I got home. Summer is officially over. I took a peak and the new liner is cool and way different. Can't wait for you to see! Next comes my least favorite room in the house has just moved up on my list for now!
I'm pretty excited about my new laundry room. The new washer and dryer are AWESOME.......when I left for work the other day I put three sets of sheets in the wash.......We all had clean sheets that night. One load. I actually like my laundry room door open now........I'm sure that won't last but for now. I love it! I painted with a can of paint that was left over from a job and I love it too.
This is my favorite thing I have been busy with. A buffet for my kitchen. Good things come to those who wait! I have been looking for this for a long time. $10 at a yard sale on my way home from work. A can of black paint left over from my sister and knobs for $1 a piece. New lamps clearance......add a little left over rick rack from something else. Found a frame in my storage room and painted the matting cream and put some of my left over material from my cornice boards in there and there you have it what I have been waiting to do. Oh yeah and with all this I have solved all my problems during these painting project because that is my therapy!

YOU FOUND YOUR BUFFET!!! It looks AWESOME too! Completely different from what it did originally- it's BEAUTIFUL, and completely fits your kitchen/dining area so beautifully. I love it- I'm sure you do too :)

I love it! We painted our old bedroom furniture last year a very dark black and I love it...made it brand new and something straight out of Pottery Barn! You have been busy! We're painting our bathroom today...we're quite excited about little mini-makeovers!
Totally love it! I can't wait to swim in the new pool next summer and those lamp shades...I love the fringe, what a great idea. Ha Ha Ha!

I LOVE that buffet there - 10$?!?!? - amazing what people throw away. And I love the cornice fabric in the frame. Seriously, you must be staring at this all the time. I would. I love when a plan like this works.
