Today I went to Salvation Army in hopes to find a buffet or dresser type thing I could paint and replace my bakers rack in the kitchen. One I'm looking for a project and two everyone needs money right now all the kids activities, we need a new pool liner which is coming in a week, and if you can believe it my dryer just up and stopped working this morning. Anyway I found this little pretty white thing for 60 cents! Wasn't sure what I would do with it......maybe drink wine in it or something!! Then I went to my sisters to dry a load of clothes that Andrew needed for practice and she was throwing out some ugly flowers from a wedding, I took some of the pretty ones and made this.......put it on my window sill tonight! Sometimes it is the littlest things that make me happy. I actually enjoyed doing the dishes tonight.

why is it that we need to feather our nest before we enjoy cleaning it?
put the flowers in...get motivated to clean...dump flowers out...pour wine in...enjoy clean kitchen!

I'm reading this and literally smiling while I'm reading it. I'm a nerd. A sucker for the little things. "I actually enjoyed doing the disheds tonight." That's what made me smile.
